Abstract
Abstract
This research examines the importance of family financial planning by applying a priority scale and transparency in the context of Pekanbaru City. This research aims to understand how the use of priority scales and the application of transparency in family financial planning impact the achievement of financial goals and family dynamics. The research methods used include surveys and interviews to collect data on financial planning behavior, management of spending priorities, and the level of transparency among families in Pekanbaru. The research results show that transparency in family financial relationships has a positive impact on financial planning. With transparency, family members have a better understanding of the family's financial situation and the financial goals they want to achieve. The priority scale helps in allocating funds more effectively to achieve these goals. This positive impact is reflected in better achievement of financial goals, reduced conflict, and better collaboration in financial decision-making. This research has important implications for families in Pekanbaru City and society in general. By increasing transparency in sharing financial information and using a priority scale, families can plan their finances more effectively. The proposed recommendations include building open communication within the family, involving all family members in financial planning, and increasing financial education to make wiser financial decisions.
