Pengaruh Program Keluarga Harapan Terhadap Kesejahteraan Ekonomi Keluarga Penerima Manfaat di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the Family Hope Program (PKH) on the economic welfare of beneficiary families in Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population and sample consisting of PKH beneficiary families in Bangko Subdistrict as the parent subdistrict and Rantau Kopar Subdistrict as the result of the division, with a total of 97 respondents. The sample was taken using the cluster sampling technique. The research data was obtained from primary data through questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing through simple linear regression. The results showed that PKH had a positive effect on the economic welfare of beneficiary families. The conclusion of the study was that the Family Hope Program was able to significantly improve the economic welfare of PKH beneficiary families in Rokan Hilir Regency. Theoretically, this study reinforces the study of the effectiveness of social assistance programs in improving the economic welfare of the poor. Practically, this study provides input for local governments and PKH managers to improve the quality of program implementation, both in terms of distribution, assistance, and evaluation of beneficiaries.
