Cyberchondria Pada Remaja: Peran Literasi Kesehatan Mental dan Kecemasan Kesehatan

Abstract

Cyberchondria adalah suatu kondisi dimana seseorang mengalami peningkatan kecemasan sebagai akibat dari pencarian informasi kesehatan secara online. Remaja sebagai pengguna internet terbesar di Indonesia rentan mengalami cyberchondria, karena perkembangannya yang belum matang dari segi fisik maupun psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi kesehatan mental dan kecemasan kesehatan dalam memprediksi cyberchondria pada remaja. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 428 orang remaja yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif korelasional dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Peneliti menggunakan tiga jenis skala untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu The Short Health Anxiety inventory (SHAI), Mental Health Literacy scale (MHLS) dan Cyberchondria severity scale 12 (CSS-12). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh bahwa literasi kesehatan mental dan kecemasan kesehatan secara simultan dapat memprediksi cyberchondria pada remaja.
