Pengembangan Model Entrepreneurship Modal Sosial di Pesantren Darul Fatah Sendayan Kampar
Abstract
This study aims to explore new alternatives for developing entrepreneurship-based businesses in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Entrepreneurship has traditionally been understood as business activities that rely heavily on capital investment. Consequently, pesantren lacking significant capital resources are often hesitant to adopt entrepreneurship as a foundational element. However, this research demonstrates that through the utilization of social capital, entrepreneurship can be effectively developed within pesantren. This study employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to data collection, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques to provide a descriptive-critical analysis. Findings reveal that Darul Fatah Pesantren, without physical business ventures, successfully fosters entrepreneurship education by leveraging social capital within the community. This is achieved through the active involvement of the community in the educational and learning processes, as well as the development of students, all while integrating local cultural wisdom.
