Abstract
This study aims to describe and compare the effectiveness of three models for assessing ablution practices in seventh-grade students of MTs TQ El Muna Q: global assessment, checklist, and scale assessment. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and literature review methods. The subjects included Islamic Religious Education teachers and nine seventh-grade students. The instruments used were a checklist observation sheet containing 16 aspects of the pillars and sunnah of ablution and a scale assessment sheet with a scale of 1–4 that assessed five main aspects of the skill. The results showed that global assessment was practical but less accurate because it did not indicate specific student errors. Assessment using a checklist provided the most detailed results and helped teachers and students clearly identify errors. Meanwhile, the scale assessment provided an objective and easily analyzed picture of the quality of ablution implementation, especially aspects of calmness, neatness, and efficiency of water use. The combination of a checklist and scale assessment proved to be the most effective because it assessed both technical aspects and students' overall worship attitudes.References

That Is , Islamic Religious Education Has a Role That Is Quite Influential on the Character of Students . However , PAI Learning in Schools Sometimes Has Various Kinds of Obstacles ( Gafarurrozi , 2023 ). These Obstacles Can Come from Teachers and Even from the Students Themselves , for Example Lack of Teacher Preparation , Learning Methods Tend to Be Monotonous , Causing Student Learning Motivation to Be Low ( Ruswandi & Mahyani , 2022 ). The Problem of Student Learning Motivation Needs to Be a Serious Concern for a Teacher Because with the High Learning Motivation Possessed by Students , Learning Will Be Achieved in Accordance with the Objectives . However , If on the Contrary Students Have No Motivation to Learn PAI , Most Likely Students Will Have Poor Character or Achievement ( Muhammad Gafarurrozi , 2021 ). Because Motivation Plays an Important Role in Determining the Extent to Which Students Are Involved in the Learning Process and How Much Students Respond to the Material Taught . Therefore , a Deep Understanding of PAI Learning Motivation Is a Must . Learning Motivation with Learning Outcomes Has a Significant Relationship . For This Reason , If a Teacher Expects PAI Learning to Be Achieved for Students , What Needs to Be Improved Is Their Learning Motivation . This Is as Said by Andriani & Rasto ( 2019 ) in Their Research That Student Learning Outcomes Can Be Improved through Student Learning Motivation . This Opinion Is Reinforced by the Research of Ayu Desy N . Endah Lulup T P . and Suharsono Naswan ( 2014 ) Which States That Learning Motivation Will Affect Student Learning Activities and Then Journal of Contemporary Islamic Education 234,” 2024.
